Friendships
Members should maintain IC friendships as they would in real life. Most people aren't "best friends" with everyone they meet, and it is not reasonable to expect their characters to be either. Members should find other members that they enjoy roleplaying with and build their IC and IRL friendships accordingly.

Competition
We encourage reasonable competition between our characters. Competition should be kept to moderately-friendly situations, and mean-spiritedness is discouraged. The Admin will warn members who they feel are abusing this.

Enemies
The old adage, "Choose your enemies wisely," is very true. It is acceptable for characters to have other characters they do not get along with or even detest. It is the responsibility of each member to make sure that this is not taken too far. Interactions should be civil, even when they are hostile. The Admin will warn members who they feel are abusing this.

We insist that such interaction be kept to ICly. If you do not get along with a member IRL, we ask you to keep that from the boards. If you cannot get along, simply avoid the other member and his or her characters.

Romance
Members are expected to play their characters realistically. While many of our members are teenagers and adults, it is important to remember that the characters may not be. JKR portrayed this very well, and that is the standard we will use. Individual sites may also have additional guidelines.
