Player Expectations

Quidditch players are a coveted role at Hogwarts and in The Wizard's Wardrobe. Players will receive many benefits by being members of their House team, but with those benefits will come certain responsibilties.

Players are expected to be regular members in the school, not just showing up for practices and matches. They should be active participants in House activities and should work to promote House unity and loyalty.

Players must understand both the sport and the methods The Wizard's Wardrobe has made to adapt this to a distance roleplaying game. As part of this, they must attend regular practices coordinated by the team Captain. Practices may be held OOC or IC. If they are held ICly, the boards will be visible for others to view.

Players must create the Quidditch Pitch playboard and create/purchase pieces to resemble all players. This will allow all players to view other player's movements during a match. (We recommend printing the board on heavy-weight paper or attaching it to cardboard, setting pitch up in 3D fashion, and using light-weight pieces such as colored cardboard markers.)

Players are expected to attend ALL matches which their team is participating. The Admin will attempt to arrange times that are convenient for all the players. In the event that a player cannot attend, they are expected to speak with their team captain to arrange for a substitute.
