The Chargen system is a process for creating a well-rounded character to roleplay in the Wizard's Wardrobe. Each site within our world will have a Chargen application with appropriate characteristics for that site. New members are required to complete the process and have their application approved before entering the site they wish to join.

The Chargen system is divided into categories that represent the different aspects of a character's being- such as physical looks, family background, or magical ability. Within these categories are choices that will define a character and his or her abilities. Some of these choices are free and others will cost Chargen "Credits."

Members are given credits to spend on their characters. New members are given a specific number of credits to begin. Players may also earn credits for their characters by being active members and other activities, as the specific site warrents.

Credits not used in the character creation may be either saved for future updates.
